Nothing interesting here, just a recipe for sauteed fish of some sort. This person was a lot more normal than the typical Omego, which, as it turns out, makes for boring conversation. I guess we can’t all be winners.
You: hey, what’s your favorite recipe?
Stranger: hmm, there’s a good one for pad thai
Stranger: can’t seem to find it again though :/
You: well dang
You: i’m trying to learn to cook
Stranger: oh haha
Stranger: i just made fish
You: what kind?
Stranger: with soy sauce, ginger, green onion
You: sounds good, how did you make it?
Stranger: comes in a few steps
Stranger: fry some whole pepper seeds and ginger
Stranger: take out seeds, dip fish in soy sauce and fry
Stranger: for a couple mins
You: ok, easy enough
Stranger: add water and more soy sauce and other seasonings
Stranger: simmer at medium for 30-45 min, making sure both sides cooked evenly
You: what kind of fish do you use?
Stranger: anything works fine
Stranger: i don’t think salmon would though
You: yeah, salmon is a tricky one
You: so any sort of white fish
Stranger: yeah sure
Stranger: i usually cook freshwater fish
Stranger: since i catch it and it’s fresh
You: so this fish recipe, would you serve it with rice? or potatoes?
Stranger: rice probably
Stranger: never tried potatoes
You: yeah, that’s what i was thinking
You: because of the soy sauce
Stranger: yup
Your conversational partner has disconnected.

Why is it that the creepy chef guy reminds me of John Cleese in some sort of Monty Python skit?
