Victory! Finally, a viable recipe. The brown sauce which consisted of nothingness worried me at first, but my new Omego from Sweden clarified quickly enough.

You: when you’re at home and hungry, what do you like to cook for yourself?

Stranger: Meatballs, cooked potatoes, and brown sauce
You: sounds pretty good, how do you make them?
Stranger: you know what kind of meat you use for a meatloaf?
You: yeah
Stranger: that type of meat and then you mix it with two eggs, one hacked yellow onion and spices and other things you want in it
Stranger: the whenmixed you roll them into balls and then put them into the fryingpan
You: sweet
You: what do you do for the potatoes and brown sauce?
Stranger: well the potatoes you cook them
Stranger: for about 20-30 minutes
Stranger: there is not more to it
You: cook them over an open fire?
Stranger: wait i dont remember the correct word in english ill look it up
Stranger: you boil them
You: ah, ok
Stranger: my bad
You: and for the brown sauce?
Stranger: it is nothing to it
Stranger: just a regular brown sauce
You: what is it made of?
Stranger: chek it out on the internet
Stranger: google is your best friend^^
Stranger: =)

Stranger: you know the oil you fry the meatballs in?
You: yes
Stranger: you mix that together with milk and spices
You: do you put any flour or anything else in it?
Stranger: no
Stranger: i just let it almost boil until it gets thick
You: cool
You: i’m going to make this

Stranger: it is kind of hard explaining

You: sounds like what we call gravy in the US
Stranger: ok oh
Stranger: here in sweden we also use
Stranger: hurm
You: we put flour in it though
Stranger: we also use lingonberry preserve
You: what are lingonberries?
Stranger: check it up =) it is something that is typical swedish
Stranger: the same with meatballs
